In case you haven’t noticed the radio silence over here and on insta- or maybe you have – there’s been a good reason!

We are so sooo soooo excited to announce that baby #2 will be joining us in May 2018! And I am beyond excited to be able to finally share the news! It hasn’t been the easiest journey so far. I’ve been so sick – severe morning sickness and stomachaches – which led to putting everything on hold and really focusing on my health. I was hoping that when we decided to get pregnant again that I wouldn’t get as sick as I did with Kaeden but the joke is on me cause it was twice as bad during my first trimester this time around!

As of this past Sunday, I am 14 weeks along. So, still fairly early into it all, but I’ve been feeling better as the weeks go by. THANK GOODNESS! It’s been much more enjoyable to think about adding a little one to our family (and growing this bump of mine!) and I honestly can’t wait to see Kaeden as a big brother. He still doesn’t understand what’s going on but he is always just the sweetest! We always ask him where the baby is and it’s so sweet to hear him say “baby”. He even has given the baby ‘sitos’ (kisses) in my tummy. My heart just melts when he does this!

We still don’t know the gender but we are both hoping it’s another boy! Not that we wouldn’t love a little girl but I’ve been in total boy mode for the past two years so I think it’d be easier knowing what I’m getting into. And the idea of having two boys grow up together is just so fun! Of course some in our family already have dubbed the baby a ‘she’ but we will just have to wait and see! I have a feeling it’s a boy 😉 I think this time around we are playing with the idea of doing a gender reveal but I don’t know if that’s even possible cause we were way too excited to find out with our first that we went to get a 3D ultrasound at 16 weeks, haha! I’m not sure if either one of us has the patience to wait but it would be pretty stinking cute to throw a party to find out (any fun ideas?!).

One thing I have been telling myself this pregnancy is to really enjoy my bump and take more belly pictures! I can’t believe that I am already starting to show which is crazy because I didn’t start showing with Kaeden until I was 7 months along!!

I can’t wait to share more and update you guys as we start this new adventure as a family!
